Detox Tube – In Portrait in Death, after Eve Dallas climbed into the broken recycle bin to process the scene where Rachel Howard's body was found, she used the 'detox tube' at the morgue and was mildly refreshed.[1]

This may be similar to the 'decontamination chamber' that was mentioned in Immortal in Death: Decontamination wasn't painful, but it wasn't particularly pleasant. It had the single virtue of being fairly short. Eve sat with Peabody, both of them stripped to the skin, in a two-seated chamber with curved white walls reflecting the hot white light. "But it's a dry heat," Peabody stated ... The light dimmed to gray and a beeper sounded, completing the session.[2]
