Appears in Creation in Death; (March 1 – March 5, 2060 [Friday – Tuesday])[1]

Personal InformationEdit

DescriptionEdit

  • His near-shoulder-length hair was combed back and dyed a hard and improbable black. Dallas thought his face was too thin, his mouth was too full, his body too slight to be The Groom.[2]

HistoryEdit

  • His father drove a morgue truck, a dead wagon, during the Urban Wars. He rode with his father most days, loaded up corpses right, left, and sideways.[3]
  • He said that, during the Urban Wars, looters would get to the bodies first and strip them of everything. He would write the sector they found them on the body so they could keep track. They would haul them in, and the dead house doc would write the number after that, record it in a book.[4]
  • Of that time he said there were dead everywhere and there were no send-offs (wakes or funerals). They burned them up, or they buried them, and mostly with company (mass graves).[5]

Interesting FactsEdit

  • He smokes.[6]
  • When Eve showed him the composite of The Groom, he said it looked a little bit like ‘Taker’ maybe. They called him Taker because they dropped off the bodies and he took them.[7]
