Vegas II – A gambling world[1] and the location of an off-planet branch of Roarke Industries, mentioned in Naked in Death[2]; sometimes called 'Vegas Two.'[3]
- It is on Vegas II that Randall Slade worked up an impressive debt at a casino owned by Roarke before Glory in Death;[4] this is also the location of Lilligas in Immortal in Death.[5]
- The killer in Vengeance in Death bounced his transmission to Eve about Jennie O'Leary's murder from 'Orion, into Stockholm, up into Vegas Two, and through Sydney' (it originated in New York, of course).[3]
- Max Ricker also owns property, the Nile River Hotel, on Vegas II in Judgment in Death.[6]
- In Judgment in Death, an ad blimp touts the delights of a package deal to Vegas II: "Four days, three nights, round-trip and deluxe accommodations for two, all for the low-low-low price of twelve thousand and eighty-five."[7]
- The Swingers Palace is, according to Dickie Berenski, an elegant all-nude resort on Vegas II from which he had just returned from a week long vacation in Portrait in Death.[8]
